Why I’m a Journalist

Posted February 3rd, 2007 by Megan Taylor

I had a conversation the other day with a fellow journalism student:

Me: If I had my way, I'd stay in college forever and get a degree in everything.
Her: Me too. That's why we're journalists.

Here's the deal: The industry (and the world) is always going to be changing. The most valuable skill you can ever have is to always remember how to learn.

Meranda Watling has a great quote and a more in-depth explanation of this concept.
