Yes, I know what a database is. Yes, I know how to write a query, add and remove data, create a schema, etc.
But everything I know about databases has been self-taught. Has come from Google searches and asking questions when I wanted to do something and didn’t know how. Pass up on a free course that might connect all the pieces of knowledge floating around in my head? Hell no.
So Stanford is offering a free Intro to Databases course. I think you can still sign up. Do that.
This is the first week, and I have video lectures to watch, homework to do and quizzes to take. I’ll be posting notes and such as I go through the course.
