I’ve been planning a redesign of this site for a while. In the hurry to get things up and running the first (and second) time around, I didn’t spend the time I should have on the design.
Ryan Sholin just redesigned his site, and I think I’m gonna yank an idea from him and use the Sandbox theme to fix all the bugs and errors and general notperfectness here.
So, on this, the first day of Spring Break, I declare that SOJo will be funky looking for the next week while I renovate.

Sounds like a good idea :)
Sandbox is a great place to start – I had to tweak the markup in a few places, but there’s a million dynamic classes built into it.
If you want one category to look different from the others, so be it. Want to make a particular post or page stand out? Can do.
That said, it starts you off with a RATHER blank canvas, but it’s a great way to practice your CSS.

Ahh, but it’s not actually white. ;) Yes, I finally listened.
